Creative Miking officially opened its doors in the late spring of 2020. It actually started as a cozy side hustle, but life soon took an unexpected turn. Following some sudden health challenges and losing my job, I found myself at a crossroads. Instead of giving up, I made a definitive choice: I threw myself into this business 100%, pouring my entire heart, energy, and soul into designing. Creative Miking became my sanctuary and my absolute passion.

As a passionate decoupager myself, the journey originally began because I couldn't find the exact designs I wanted to use for my own projects. I knew what I wanted in my head, but it just wasn't out there on the market. Today, I am proud to say that what started in a difficult moment has blossomed into a full-time dream.

I absolutely love the creative process, but my favourite part of this job is you. I thrive on challenges, and I truly love the custom requests that my lovely customers send my way. Every single idea you bring to me pushes my creativity and helps Creative Miking grow.

My studio is tucked away in a small, cozy house in England. If I'm being completely honest, my business has slowly taken over most of our living room 🙈 But it's a happy space filled with joy, imagination, and endless piles of beautiful rice papers.

Today, Creative Miking is so much more than just my job—it’s a way for me to support the people I love the most. Having navigated my own health journey, this business gives me the incredible flexibility to be there for my family. It allows me to help care for my sister during her illness and support my wonderful nephew, who is autistic.
